Garden Meadow Thinking of You Card

Image
Hi Crafting Friend, Well, I was playing in my stash again. This week I combined a retired Host DSP with current cardstock, ink, and an online exclusive stamp set using a card sketch from page 22 of the 2024 Annual Catalog.I love how bright and cheery it is!    The card base is Pretty In Pink cut to 8 1/2" X  5 1/2" scored, folded and burnished at 4 1/4" on the long side.  I deviated from the sketch a bit and added a layer of Pretty In Pink cut to 4" X 5 1/4" and also edged the layer with Pretty In Pink using a sponge dauber.  All the other measurements are in the photo of the card sketch (Thank you to Frenchie for providing the measurements for all the card sketches on page 22)  To make the banner, work on the back side and make a pencil mark at the center point of both short ends. Lightly draw a line connecting the two marks. Measure 1/2" in from each end along that line, then cut from the outside corners to those marks and you will have a perfect banner

Flowers For Every Season Anniversary Cards

Hi Crafting Friend, I dove into my stash again this week and made four anniversary cards that immediately were sent out.  The florals are gorgeous, but I don't know how much the guys will appreciate them, LOL. My friend says it doesn't matter because the cards are more for the women anyway. What do you think? The Flowers For Every Season Memeories & More Cards and envelopes is what I used for the card bases. They are 4 1/4" X 6 1/4" when folded. (or 6 1/4" X 4 1/4" for the landscape oriented card) Of course, the coordinating DSP was also used. I forgot to take photos of the insides and the decorated envelopes. I think the easiest way to tell you about each card is to post it under the individual card photos below. The products I used are linked below all the photos. All of the links will take you to my online store, but instead of displaying the product, the retired ones will say:  "OUT WITH THE OLD, IN WITH THE NEW!  This page is no longer availab

Its a Wonderful World When You Can Use Some of The Stash

Hi Crafting Friend, Do you ever feel like your stash of crafting supplies is taking over? That's how I felt when I walked into my craft room this morning. I was going through a few things when I ran across a bunch of flowers that I had punched from some DSP a while back. (using the retired Rectangular Postage Stamp Punch) The DSP is called Wonderful World from Sale-A-Bration 2022 and also came with a stamp set.  When I punched them, I wasn't thrilled so they got put away until I just found them again. I hate wastse so I decided I would try to use them. I didn't use any of the stamps because I was concentrating on using the punched DSP, but I may go back and stamp inside the cards or decorate some envelopes to coordinate with them. I'm pretty happy with the results especially considering how underwhelmed I was with them when I originally punched them out.  The dies that were used are retired, as is the Rich Razzleberry cardstock. The other cardstocks and inks are curren
