Hi Crafting Friend, Well, here we are, its the last day of Sale-A-Bration. I'm always sad to see it end. I hope you were able to get all the free items you had on your wish list. If you didn't and want to place a last minute order, please contact me and I will be happy to help you. A couple of  weeks ago while working on something else, I came across these 4 strips of Perennial Lavender DSP and was inspired to make this card with them.  The Blackberry Bliss card base is 8 1/2 X 5 1/2 scored at 4 1/4 on the long side, folded and burnished. The insert is Basic White cut to 4 X 5 1/4. The Fresh Freesia layer is 4 X 5 1/4 and edged with Blackberry Bliss ink using a sponge dauber. The scrap strips are 3 3/4 X 1. The 2 purple strips are edged with Gorgeous Grape ink, The Pretty Peacock strip is edged in the same color ink, and the remaining strip is edged with Pecan Pie.  They are evenly spaced onto the Fresh Freesia layer and adhered.  The sentiment is stamped on Basic White with Bl

Hi Crafting Friend, I am C.A.S.E.ing a card I saw made with DSP and the Heartfelt Hexagon Bundle. I don't remember who made it or what DSP was used, but it was oriented vertically, so I decided to try it horizontally.  The card base is Crumb Cake cut to 8.5 X 5.5, scored at 4.25 on the long side, folded and burnished so it lays nice and flat. The insert for the card is Very Vanilla  cut to 5.25 X 4 and adhered inside. Stamp the sentiment from the Heartfelt Hexagon stamp set with Early Espresso ink on Very Vanilla cardstock (approximately 2.5" square) and punch out a hexagon, then adhere it to the center of the card front.  Choose 4 of the prints from the Flight & Airy DSP (only available until the end of Feb. as a free Sale-A-Bration choice with a qualifying purchase*) , punch 2 hexagons from each print. Arrange them around the sentiment on the card front and adhere them. Trim off whatever hangs over the edge.  Fussy cut one of the birds from the DSP and adhere it to the

Perennial Postage Stack, Slice & Shuffle 4 Pack

Hi Crafting Friend, I had crafter's block this week. I finally got inspired after seeing some cards made with the stack, slice and shuffle technique. I know I've shown this technique before, but I did a twist on it. I cut on angles instead of vertically and horizontally and then left a tiny gap as I adhered the pieces of DSP so the layer underneath showed between the pieces of DSP and bordered them.  All of the card bases are Crumb cake.  Two are cut to 8 1/2 X 5 1/2.  "Sending love and best wishes" is stamped with Gorgeous Grape and has a Highland Heather layer. It is a standard card, scored, folded and burnished at 4 1/4 "You mean the world to me" is stamped with Blackberry Bliss with the same color layer. It is a gatefold, scored, folded, and burnished at 2 1/8 & 6 3/8.   The other two card bases are cut to 4 1/4 X 11, scored, folded, and burnished at 5 1/2. "I know you will get through this" is stamped with Pretty Peacock with the same co
