Hi Crafting Friend, It has been many moons since I have made a card with only a "sip" (stamps, ink paper) and simple stamping. (no layers, embellishments, die-cuts, embossing etc.) What do you think? I really like it! The image of the mother and baby giraffe makes me think of what I do with my 4-legged fur baby, Brida, when I kiss her repeatedly on top of her forehead, between her eyes. I call it "Mama kisses" and she loves it, LOL. It is a very straightforward card. The images are stamped on the card base itself, that's it! Nothing special about the card base either, its the standard size, a half sheet of cardstock (5.5 X 8.5) scored and folded in half and burnished with the bone folder for a nice crisp fold.  Hi Crafting Friend, Today's card is made with 6 rectangular scraps of Hello Irresistible DSP that measure 1 & 7/8 X 1. They are evenly spaced on a  3 & 5/8 X 4 & 7/8 layer of Soft Sea Foam against a 3 & 1/8 X 1/2 strip of Basic White which has the sentiment from Cheerful Daisies stamped on it in Lost Lagoon. The Card Base is also Lost Lagoon (8 & 1/2 X 5 & 1/2 scored on the long side at 4 & 1/4) with an insert of Basic White cut to 4 X 5 & 1/4 The focal flower is fussy cut from the same DSP as the rectangles and adhered on top of some baker's twine on a couple of Mini Dimensionals .  Hi Crafting Friend, Do you love blue and yellow together like I do? If you do, then you're sure to like today's card.  The cardbase is Blueberry Bushel cut to 8.5" X 5.5" scored on the long side at 4.25" folded and burnished with the bone folder. (such a wonderful tool for crisp folds) The yellow layer is Lemon Lolly cut to 4" X 5.5" and adhered with Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Stampin' Seal. On top of that is a 3" X 5.5" piece of Blueberry Bushel Glorious Gingham DSP , also adhered with   Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Stampin' Seal.  ( If you want to "stretch" your cardstock, you can use a .25" strip on each side of the DSP instead of a lyer underneath it)The focal point is the daisy cluster die-cut from Lemon Lolly. The centers of the flowers and the leaves were colored with sponge daubers using Bubble Bath and Garden Green Classic Stampin' Pads.
