Lighter Than Air In The Rain

Image
Hi Crafting Friends, I know almost everyone else is focusing on the new stuff. (products that will be coming out in May, new kits, and Online Exclusives that just came out) There is plenty of time to give you ideas for those goodies once they get here and you can actually order them for yourself. I am continuing to try to give you ideas and inspiration for cards made with products that you may already have that will be retiring.  For this week's card the base is Pool Party cut to 8 1/2" X 5 1/2" then scored, folded and burnished at 4 1/4" on the long side. The Basic White insert is 5 1/4" X 4 and adhered inside. The Lighter Than Air cloud print layer is cut to 5" X 3 3/4" and adhered to the card front.  Fussy cut some clouds from what is left of the cloud print sheet of DSP and set them aside for now. Fussy cut the balloons you want to use from the balloon print in that pack of DSO and set them aside also. The Vellum layer is cut to 5" X 3 3/4&qu

Little Dreamers, Not Just For Babies, Graduation Card

Image
Hi Crafting Friend, I needed a graduation card, but didn't have a graduation stamp set. It was time to get creative! With inspiration from Brenda Quintana and the Color Throwdown Challenge #789, I successfully created a nice graduation card. The Color Throwdown Challenge required the use of red, navy and gold with any neutrals necessary. Blueberry Bushel isn't quite Navy, but it was close enough for me.  The card base is Real Red cut to 8 1/2" X 5 1/2" scored on the long side at 4 1/4" then folded and burnished to lay flat.  The Blueberry Bushel Glorious Gingham DSP* is 3 X 5 1/2" and adhered to the center of the card front.  The insert (not shown) is Basic White cut to 4 X 5 1/4" with a 3/4 X 5 1/4" strip of the Blueberry Bushel Gingham  adhered on one side, but the strip isn't necessary if you don't want it. The graduation cap is cut from Basic Black with the middle sized, square Stylish Shapes die. I marked the center on the reverse side

Fluffiest Friends & Perennial Postage Encouragement Card

Hi Crafting Friend, Today's card uses two bundles, some coloring, and some fussy cutting, but its so cute !!! The products used are linked below. If you like the cards I share with you please let me know in the comments. The card base is 5 1/2 X 8 1/2 scored at 4 1/4 on the long side, folded and burnished so it lays nice and flat when closed.  The insert is Basic White cut to 4 X 5 1/4 with the flower trio and the bee trio stamped in the lower right corner with Memento ink and colored with Blends. The DSP layer is 4 X 5 1/4  The sentiment is stamped with Night of Navy ink on Basic White and fussy cut into a rectangle, then framed with Night of Navy die-cut using the Perennial Postage dies. The cat and trio of flowers are stamped with Memento ink and colored with Blends. The cat is die-cut, the flowers are fussy cut. (cut out the heads of the flowers and the leaves, but not the stems) To assemble: Adhere the insert inside the card. Stamp the flower trio on the DSP with Memento, &quo
