I participate in swaps throughout the year and this is one of the cards I designed for the most current swap I contributed to. In my humble opinion it is beautiful! Of course, Stampin' Up!® makes it so easy! Everything just naturally goes together because of the color coordination. The inks, the cardstock, the Designer Series Paper (DSP), and the embellishments all work together so wonderfully, it takes the guesswork out of the equation. Hi Stamping Friend, Let's take a trip back in time to when tie-dye was all the rage (the first time, LOL). Were you around in the 60's and 70's when it was everywhere? Hi Stamping Friend, I was playing with a very old technique for this card, using pages from old books. I really like the look. I also broke out my deckle scissors that I haven't used in years. Hi Stamping Friend, Thanks for popping in, today's card is a really simple one because I'm trying to prep for our 2nd shot of the COVID-19 vaccine tonight by cooking and freezing meals in case we feel lousy afterward.  Unfortunately the beautiful Butterfly Bijou DSP that I cut the butterflies from is long gone, but it isn't hard to get the same feel. Just stampthe butterflies from the Butterfly Brilliance Stamp Set with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on Basic White cardstock, then fill in with blends in your desired colors. Hi Stamping Friend, I was playing with one of my favorite sets again. This card is similar to the first one. Of course, that's understandable when you're using all the same supplies and colors. Unfortunately, the picture doesn't do it justice. I couldn't get the shimmer to show and the opal round isn't fiery like it is in person. That's OK, I still think its beautiful!
