Garden Meadow Thinking of You Card

 Hi Crafting Friend,

Well, I was playing in my stash again. This week I combined a retired Host DSP with current cardstock, ink, and an online exclusive stamp set using a card sketch from page 22 of the 2024 Annual Catalog.I love how bright and cheery it is!

The card base is Pretty In Pink cut to 8 1/2" X  5 1/2" scored, folded and burnished at 4 1/4" on the long side.

I deviated from the sketch a bit and added a layer of Pretty In Pink cut to 4" X 5 1/4" and also edged the layer with Pretty In Pink using a sponge dauber.

All the other measurements are in the photo of the card sketch (Thank you to Frenchie for providing the measurements for all the card sketches on page 22)

To make the banner, work on the back side and make a pencil mark at the center point of both short ends. Lightly draw a line connecting the two marks. Measure 1/2" in from each end along that line, then cut from the outside corners to those marks and you will have a perfect banner.

Edge the DSP pieces with Blackberry Bliss using a sponge dauber.

Stamp the sentiment using Blackberry Bliss, then edge it with Pretty In Pink.

When assembling the card, adhere the DSP peices and the sentment together with Multipurpose Liquid Glue, then use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the whole thing to the card front.

The insert is 4: X 5 1/4" You could edge this with Pretty In Pink if you want. (I forgot to do that) Add a 4" X 3/4" strip of DSP to the bottom of the insert to finish off the card.

All the products used are linked below. Just a reminder that all bundles and the Stampin' Cut & Emboss machine are on sale during this month. (June 2024)
