Umbrella Days End When The Storm Does

Image
Hi Crafting Friend, Spring is coming and with it, in most places, rainstorms. That was what inspired my card this week. The Online Exclusive Umbrella Days Bundle is adorable and perfect to encourage someone. There are lots of steps, but it's really not a difficult card to make. Take a look and let me know what you think.  CARD BASE: Basic Gray cardstock - 8 1/2" X 5 1/2" scored folded and burnished at 2 1/8" and 6 3/8" on the long side to form a gatefold. INSERT: Basic White   cardstock - 4" X 5 1/4" Adhere inside the card with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. DIE-CUTTING: Smoky Slate cardstock -  Die-cut clouds and puddles.  Ink the edges of the clouds with a sponge dauber and Smoky Slate ink.  Basic White cardstock -  Stamp a sun using Crushed Curry ink and fussy-cut it. Apply adhesive to the front section that is folded back and adhere a 4 1/4" X 5 1/2" piece of Shaded Spruce to it to form an "S" Fold (if looking down from the top) or a  "Z" Fold (if looking at the bottom of the card), whichever you want to call it.  Choose one of your favorite scenes from the DSP pack. (how can you choose just one?) Cut 3/4" off of the top or botom, whichever you decide looks best. Cut the 6" X 5 1/4" piece at 4" on the long side so that you have two pieces, one that measures 4" X 5 1/4" for the card fron...
