Say “Hello Friend” with the Storybook Friends Bundle!

Hi Crafting Friend, There’s something magical about handmade cards, especially when they tell a little story of their own. Today, I’m excited to share a sweet “Hello Friend” card made using the Stampin’ Up! Storybook Friends Bundle . This bundle has stolen my heart with its whimsical, illustrated critters and charming sentiments straight out of a children’s book. For this card, start by embossing your card front with the Eyelet 3D Embossing Folder to add dimension.  Use a Sponge Dauber to edge 2 different soft, pastel DSPs with Misty Moonlight ink. (I used a couple pieces from the sheet above) Then arrrange them on the card front to give it a dreamy storybook feel.  Use Versamark and Black embossing powder set with the Heat Tool for the image of the bunny.  Classic Stampin' Pads and a Blender Pen add color to bring the bunny image to life. Terrific Toadstools Poppin' Up Everywhere Card

Hi Crafting Friend, Are you enjoying the new Mini Catalog, Scrapbooking Brochure and Sale-A-Bration Brochure? I am! So many cute stamps, dies, punches, great DSP etc. This card uses the Terrific Toadstools Bundle from the new Mini Catalog and the Toadstool Gardens DSP from the Sale-A-Bration Brochure.  The Pumpkin Pie card base is 4 1/4" X 11" scored, folded and burnished at 5 1/2" The Granny Apple Green (3 3/4" X 5") and Melon Mambo (3 1/4" X 4") cardstock layers were die-cut using the Perennial Postage Dies. The Basic White layer for stamping is 2 3/4" X 4" The insert, also Basic White, is 4" X 5 1/4" The sentiment is stamped with Melon Mambo, the small cluster of mushrooms is stamped with Crumb Cake and the grass is stamped off once with Granny Apple Green. For the large mushroom, use Crumb Cake ink and stamp the stem on Basic White then fussy cut it. The mushroom cap is stamped on DSP and punched or fussy cut. Adhere it with a ...
