You Brighten My Day with Floral Blooms Card

Image
Hi Crafting Friend,  I was playing with a few new products (Floral Blooms DSP and the new In Colors, 2025 Annual Catalog) and made this card. Unfortunately, I can't link them in the product list below until the catalog goes live in May, so I linked a current DSP and ink pads that coordinate with it that are similar to what I used on this card. That way, you could duplicate a very similar card if you don't want to wait until the new products come out. I will give the instructions with the linked products, but the actual products used will be listed below the photo. I hope that's not too confusing. CARD BASE: Shy Shamrock cardstock - 5 1/2" X 8 1/2" scored, folded and burnished on the long side at 4 1/4" INSERT: Basic White cardstock - 5 1/4" X 4" Decorate if desired. Adhere inside the card. CARD FRONT: Basic White cardstock layer - 5 1/4" X 4" embossed using Eyelet 3D Embossing Folder and Stampin' Cut & Die Machine.  Using sponge da...

Sweet Blooms Calendar Anniversary Card

Hi Crafting Friend, I still have a few calendars with self-adhesive strips left over from the bunch that I ordered in January from Vippies.com. They measure 2 7/8" X 2 1/4." You can also get similar ones from Amazon. I like using them for anniversary cards because I can circle the date, and the recipient has something they can use for the rest of the year.                    Here's how it was made. . .  CARD BASE: Wild Wheat cardstock - 5 1/2" X 8 1/2" score, fold and burnish at 4 1/4" on the long side. Cut another piece of cardstock 5 1/2" X 3" score at 1/2"(valley fold), 1 1/2" (mountain fold) and 2 1/2" (valley fold) It will look like a "W" when finished. Adhere the outside of the 1/2" portions to the inside, front and back of the card, keeping the folds flush with the bottom of the card. This provides a stable base to display the card. INSERT: Basic White cardstock - 5 1/4" X 4" Adhere to the back of th...

Spring Corners Anniversary Card

Hi Crafting Friend,  I hope you are having an amazing week. I'm getting ready to spend the weekend volunteering at Game On Expo, a video game convention here in Phoenix. I'm not into video games, but I enjoy meeting people and this is a fun way to do it. I hope you have fun plans for the weekend too! I have another anniversary calendar card for you today. You can get the mini adhesive calendars from Vippies or Amazon. They are approximately 3" X 2 1/4" Let's get started. CARD BASE Old Olive cardstock - 4 1/4" X 11" scored, folded and burnished on the long side at 5 1/2"   Old Olive cardstock - 4" X 4 1/4" scored, folded (valley, mountain, valley) and burnished at 1/2," 2," & 3 1/2" on the short side. Apply adhesive to the 1/2" portions and position it so the "valley folds are flush with the bottom of the front & back of the card and even on the sides. This allows it to stand stably for display. INSERT Basi...
