Everday Hello In A Planted Paradise

Image
Hi Crafting Friend,  Would you believe that this card started with an embossed piece of Basic Black cardstock? Well, it did! Unfortunately, the embossing folder that was used to emboss it is discontinued, but it's just a tiny border under the DSP and the embossing hardly shows. In fact, in the picture it is hard to see it at all. So, I'm sure you could easily find a substitute E.F. or even skip embossing it completely if you prefer. The card base is Coastal Cabana cut to 8 1/2" X 5 1/2" scored, folded and burnished at 4 1/4" on the long side. The insert (not pictured) is Basic White cut to 4" X 5 1/4"  Embellish it as desired, then adhere it inside the card using Multipurpose Liquid Glue or another adhesive of your choice. The embossed Basic Black cardstock layer is 3 7/8" X 5 1/4" It is adhered directly to the card front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  The DSP layer is 3 3/4" X 5"  After stamping the sentiment in the upper right co...

Full of Life Country Birdhouse

Hi Crafting Friend, Today's card was made almost entirely with scraps. Here's how it was done: The card base is Balmy Blue cut to 8 1/2" X 5 1/2" scored, folded & burnished at 4 1/4" on the long side. The insert is Basic White 5 1/4" X 4". I didn't stamp anything inside, but I may later when I get ready to send it out. The DSP layer is 5 1/2" X 2" (leftover 6" X 2" piece from another card) backed with Misty Moonlight. I used a 1/2" strip layered underneath on the top and bottom because I have an abundance of 1/2" strips in every color, but if you don't, you can use a 5 1/2" X 2 1/4" piece of cardstock to layer underneath the DSP.  The floral images and the sentiment were stamped with Misty Moonlight.  That's it, so easy you could almost do it in your sleep. 😴 All the products used are linked below the photo.  Thanks for stopping by MissQsCraftingContinuum, Live Long & Craft On! - Susan 🌄🖖 P...

Celebrate With Round We Go

Hi Crafting Friend, I have two cards for you this week, both made with the Round We Go stamps and dies.  Card 1 , on the left , has a card base of  Night of Navy  cardstock  - 8 1/2" X 5 1/2" scored, folded and burnished at 4 1/4" on the long side. The Countryside Inn DSP layer is 4" X 5 1/4" and is adhered to the card front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  The rosette is die-cut DSP mounted on a 1" circle of Basic White (underneath, not visible) with a Boho Blue cardstock die-cut accented with Wink of Stella to give it a bit of sparkle and a blue Tinsel Gem on top, in the center. It is adhered to the card front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue .  The sentiment is Night of Navy ink on a Basic White die-cut. The stars are Boho Blue ink stamped off once. There is also a blue Tinsel Gem on the dot of the exclamation point. This is also adhered with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. The Basic White cardstock  floral die-cut piece has a blue Tinsel Gem in the ce...
