Hi Crafting Friend,
Attending the Star Trek convention is always an exciting experience filled with cosplay, panels, collectibles—and one of the most fun and personal aspects: swapping fan-made items with fellow Trekkies. Whether you're a veteran crafter or just getting started with your replicator (aka glue gun), making handmade items to trade is a fantastic way to share your love for the franchise and meet other fans.
As a card maker, I am making some cards to trade with fellow crafters. Of course, I used many supplies and tools from Stampin' Up! The Stargazing DSP was in the 2023 Annual Catalog. I stocked up so I'd be able to make cards to trade for a few years. Here's a sample of some of the cards I'll be trading this year:
There is also a current DSP called Everyday Skies that has some nice designs too. I'll post some cards I make with that DSP next week.

Heartfelt Hexagon & Perennial Lavender Sympathy Card

Hi Crafting Friend, The Perennial Lavender DSP was still on my desk along with the Heartfelt Hexagon stamps and punch so, that's what I started with. Instead of waiting until I need one, I decided to make a Sympathy card with them. I really like the way it looks. What do you think?       Card Front                                                                 Inside/Insert Here's how to duplicate it: CARD BASE Crumb Cake cardstock cut to 8 1/2" X 5 1/2"  Score, Fold and Burnish at 4 1/4" on the long side. INSERT Very Vanilla cardstock 4 1/2" X 4" edged with Pecan Pie ink and a 3/4" X 4" strip of Perennial Lavender DSP edged with Pecan Pie ink adhered next to it on the left side. Bloom Impressions Spring Quilt For You Card

 Hi Crafting Friends, Here we are in 2025. The weather has been cold, but not too cold, which I greatly appreciate. I woke up to hazy skies this morning and my mind went immediately to the fires over in California. My heart goes out to all those that have had to flee and leave their belongings behind to be consumed by the raging flames. If you or anyone you know are near those areas, I hope you are all safe! How about a little bit of distraction? I have been seeing a lot of "quilt" cards lately, so I made one too. We'll get to the card in a minute. Hello Hills of Tuscany Fun Fold Card

 Hi Crafting Friend, Welcome to 2024, the new Mini Catalog and the Sale-A-Bration Brochure. This Spring Mini catalog is always my favorite, especially when you add the benefits of Sale-A-Bration to it. There are so many adorable stamp sets, dies, DSPs and other goodies! Do you like this catalog as much as I do?  Today's card uses the Hills of Tuscany stamp set. The images were stamped directly onto the DSP, (house - white craft ink, roof - Cherry Cobbler, trees and sentiment - Shaded Spruce) the house was then heat embossed with white embossing powder. The card base is Shaded Spruce cut to 8 1/2 X 5 1/2 and scored on the long side at 2 3/4 and 4 1/4. Fold it in half and then fold the card front back as shown in the photos below.  The Gorgeous Grape layers are 1 7/8 X 5 1/4 for the front and inside left; and 4 X 5 1/4 for the right side.  Cut a 1 inch strip off the top of the DSP to use on another project, then cut 2 pieces, each 1 3/4 wide from the left side (the tre...
