 Hi Crafting Friend, Sympathy cards can be some of the most meaningful projects we make as card makers. When designing for men, it’s important to keep the tone subtle, calming, and elegant. Today, I’m sharing a masculine sympathy card using some of my favorite Stampin’ Up! products that balance heartfelt sentiment with a beautiful fun fold design from Connie Stewart. For this card, I used: Stamp Set : Unbounded Love & Heartfelt Sympathy (retired)  for the sentiments Paper : Timeless Plaid Designer Series Paper for a natural, textured background Cardstock : Mossy Meadow , and Whisper White 3D Embossing Folder:   Forever Plaid Ink : Pecan Pie  and Early Espresso Embellishment : A simple Linen Thread wrap tied in a knot The key to this card is keeping embellishments minimal while using earthy tones and layers to create visual interest. Hi Crafting Friend, The Perennial Lavender DSP was still on my desk along with the Heartfelt Hexagon stamps and punch so, that's what I started with. Instead of waiting until I need one, I decided to make a Sympathy card with them. I really like the way it looks. What do you think?       Card Front                                                                 Inside/Insert Here's how to duplicate it: CARD BASE Crumb Cake cardstock cut to 8 1/2" X 5 1/2"  Score, Fold and Burnish at 4 1/4" on the long side. INSERT Very Vanilla cardstock 4 1/2" X 4" edged with Pecan Pie ink and a 3/4" X 4" strip of Perennial Lavender DSP edged with Pecan Pie ink adhered next to it on the left side.
