An Easy Encouraging Fun Fold Card with Unbounded Love & Thoughtful Journey DSP

Have you been looking for a card project that’s both eye-catching and incredibly easy to make? This fun fold card checks all the boxes—encouraging, elegant, and just the right amount of flair!

Using the Unbounded Love stamp set and the stunning Thoughtful Journey Designer Series Paper, you can create a unique card that’s perfect for sending a little uplift.  The sentiments in Unbounded Love are beautifully expressive and they pair so well with the watercolor-style backgrounds of Thoughtful Journey DSP.

I’ve included a list of the products used, photos and dimensions in today’s post so you can recreate it with ease. Whether you're a seasoned crafter or just starting out, this is one you'll want to try.

👉 Here's how to do it:

CARD BASE: 

  1. Mossy Meadow cardstock - 8 1/2" X 5 1/2" scored, folded and burnished at 2 1/8" (mountain) and 4 1/4" (valley) on the long side to form a "Z" Fold.

LAYERS: 

  1. Petunia Pop cardstock - 3 pieces, each 1 7/8" X 5 1/4" 
  2. Thoughtful Journey DSP - 3 pieces, each 1 5/8" X 5"
  3. Basic White cardstock - one piece 2" X 5 1/4"  

ASSEMBLY: 

  1. Adhere one piece of DSP to each of the three pieces of Petunia Pop Cardstock. 
  2. Adhere the 3 layered pieces to the card as shown in the photos above.
  3. Adhere the Basic White cardstock piece between the second and third layered pieces as shown in the photos above.
  4. Punch a Basic White label using the Heartfelt Hexagon punch, stamp the sentiment using Mossy Meadow ink and adhere the left half of the label to the right side of the front panel of the card.
  5. Finish the card by adding some bling, the sample uses a couple of brass birds on the far-right layered panel and a Petunia Pop gem on the sentiment label.

This fold is beginner-friendly (no fancy tools needed) but looks like you spent hours on it! Let me know in the comments how you like it and if you make one.

Hi Crafting Friend, The Perennial Lavender DSP was still on my desk along with the Heartfelt Hexagon stamps and punch so, that's what I started with. Hello Hills of Tuscany Fun Fold Card

 Hi Crafting Friend, Welcome to 2024, the new Mini Catalog and the Sale-A-Bration Brochure. This Spring Mini catalog is always my favorite, especially when you add the benefits of Sale-A-Bration to it. There are so many adorable stamp sets, dies, DSPs and other goodies! Do you like this catalog as much as I do?  Today's card uses the Hills of Tuscany stamp set. The images were stamped directly onto the DSP, (house - white craft ink, roof - Cherry Cobbler, trees and sentiment - Shaded Spruce) the house was then heat embossed with white embossing powder. The card base is Shaded Spruce cut to 8 1/2 X 5 1/2 and scored on the long side at 2 3/4 and 4 1/4.  Hi Crafting Friends, Here we are in 2025. The weather has been cold, but not too cold, which I greatly appreciate. I woke up to hazy skies this morning and my mind went immediately to the fires over in California. My heart goes out to all those that have had to flee and leave their belongings behind to be consumed by the raging flames. If you or anyone you know are near those areas, I hope you are all safe!
