Stampahowlics Card Swap - Paper Tags Card
Hi Crafting Friend,
The card being featured today was made by Janice Weightman. I received it as part of a swap I participated in to get samples from the new 2025 Annual Catalog, as well as the new Online Exclusives, which is where the Paper Tags stamps & dies can be found. It's a beautiful, easy to make card and it uses one of the new In-Colors. Have you seen them yet? They are: Cloud Cover, Darling Duckling, Secret Sea, Strawberry Slush and Timid Tiger. Imagine a whole set, each card made from one of the In-Colors. That would be a great gift! Here's how to do it.
CARD BASE:
- Basic Beige cardstock - 8 1/2 X 5 1/2 scored, folded and burnished at 4 1/4 on the long side.
- Since the card base is a light color, an insert is not needed. If you choose to add one the measurement is 4 X 5 1/4
CARD FRONT:
- Embossed Secret Sea cardstock layer - 4 X 5 1/4 Run the cardstock through the Stampin' Cut & Emboss machine in the Damask Designs embossing folder. Adhere to the card front leaving an even border on the top, bottom, left & right sides.
- Basic Beige cardstock - approximately 2 1/4 X 3 3/4 stamp the sentiment using Secret Sea ink and die-cut. Adhere to the embossed layer on the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals.
- Tie a bow with Basic Beige 3/8 Classic Ribbon and adhere to the card front as shown in the photo.
- Add Holographic Resin Dots as desired.
