I hope you are having a wonderful week. This Slimline card was made with the Cheers & Sips stamp set and the coordinating Celebratory Sips DSP, both are part of the new Celebratory Sips Suite Collection. Only the sentiments were stamped because I chose to fussy cut the images rather than die-cut them so I wouldn't lose the detail of the garnishes on the glasses and because I wasn't in the mood for coloring the images. I used the bottom row of images from the DSP, as well as the pink flowers. I'm really pleased with how it turned out. I don't mind fussy cutting, but I know some people abhor it. Which team are you on?

CARD BASE:

  1. Berry Burst cardstock - 8 1/2 X 8 scored, folded and burnished at 4 on the short side.
INSERT: 

  1. Basic White cardstock - 8 1/4 X 3 3/4 
  2. Stamp sentiment in the center using Tuxedo Black Memento ink.
  3. Adhere inside the card leaving an even border all around the edges.
  4. Fussy cut a partial cocktail from the DSP and adhere it in the bottom right corner.
CARD FRONT:

  1. DSP Layer - 8 1/4 X 3 3/4 
  2. Adhere to the front of the card.
  3. Fussy cut the cocktails and flowers you wish to use and adhere them to the card front using Dimensionals and Mini Dimensionals.
  4. Stamp the sentiment on a scrap of Basic white cardstock, trim and adhere to the card front using Mini Dimensionals to complete the card.

Hi Crafting Friend, The Perennial Lavender DSP was still on my desk along with the Heartfelt Hexagon stamps and punch so, that's what I started with. Instead of waiting until I need one, I decided to make a Sympathy card with them. I really like the way it looks. Hello Hills of Tuscany Fun Fold Card

 Hi Crafting Friend, Welcome to 2024, the new Mini Catalog and the Sale-A-Bration Brochure. This Spring Mini catalog is always my favorite, especially when you add the benefits of Sale-A-Bration to it. There are so many adorable stamp sets, dies, DSPs and other goodies! Do you like this catalog as much as I do?  Today's card uses the Hills of Tuscany stamp set. The images were stamped directly onto the DSP, (house - white craft ink, roof - Cherry Cobbler, trees and sentiment - Shaded Spruce) the house was then heat embossed with white embossing powder. The card base is Shaded Spruce cut to 8 1/2 X 5 1/2 and scored on the long side at 2 3/4 and 4 1/4.  Hi Crafting Friends, Here we are in 2025. The weather has been cold, but not too cold, which I greatly appreciate. I woke up to hazy skies this morning and my mind went immediately to the fires over in California. My heart goes out to all those that have had to flee and leave their belongings behind to be consumed by the raging flames. If you or anyone you know are near those areas, I hope you are all safe!
