Fun Folds Around The Bend

 Hi Crafting Friend,

Today I have three variations of a fun fold anniversary card to share with you. The fun fold was C.A.S.E.d from a card by Debbie Mageed. (Thanks for the inspiration, Debbie!)

The card base is 5 1/2 X 11, scored, folded and burnished at 4 1/4 and 8 1/2 on the long side. For the flap you need DSP or cardstock cut to 2 1/4 X 5 1/4 Line it up on the flap and cut them both at the same time so it lines up perfectly when you adhere it. For the section under the flap, the DSP is cut to 4 X 5 1/4. The Basic White insert is also 4 X 5 1/4 with a 3/4 X 4 strip of DSP on one side and stamped with the Happy Anniversary sentiment from the Always In My Heart stamp set.*

For the Wild Wheat version of the card, the front sentiment is stamped on a 1/2 strip of white, trimmed to size and mounted on a 3/4 strip of Wild Wheat trimmed to 1/4 longer than the white strip. Then it was adhered to the front of the card with Dimensionals.

For the Blueberry Bushel and Moody Mauve versions of the card, the front sentiment is stamped right on the cardstock that was die-cut, stamped and adhered to the flap. The Blueberry Bushel card was finished off with a pale blue gem leftover from last month's Paper Pumpkin kit. The Moody Mauve card was finished off with an Adhesive Backed Speckled Dot* of the same color.

*The Always In My Heart stamp set (Happy Anniversary sentiment) and Adhesive Backed Speckled Dots are retired, but I'm sure you have or can find substitutes for those items. (you can always color white pearls with your Stampin' Blends Markers)

Thanks for stopping by MissQsCraftingContinuum, I hope you were inspired.
