To The Point with Countryside Rose

Hi Crafting Friend,
This idea is a repeat of a couple of cards I've done in the past, but with a different punch. The DSP is called Countryside Rose. The coordinating colors are Petal Pink, Pretty In Pink and Melon Mambo. It was an award for achieving a Stampin' Up!® sales challenge and I haven't really used it. The designs on it are the same as Countryside Inn so that is what I put in the product list. Any DSP will work, just use your favorite patterns and coordinating colors of cardstock.
 
CARD BASE:
  1. Melon Mambo cardstock - 5 1/2" X 8 1/2" scored, folded and burnished on the long side at 4 1/4"
INSERT:
  1. Basic White cardstock - 5 1/4" X 4" Decorate if desired. Adhere inside the card.
CARD FRONT:
  1. Pretty In Pink cardstock layer - 5 1/4" X 4" 
  2. Using To The Point punch, cut out several different patterns of DSP. On the most neutral* one, stamp the sentiment with Melon Mambo ink.
  3. Using sponge daubers and Melon Mambo ink, lightly ink the edges of the punched DSP pieces. Adhere them to the Pretty In Pink cardstock layer starting with the sentiment in the center and working out from there. Using Paper Snips, trim off any DSP that hangs over the sides.
  4. Adhere the decorated layer to the card front.

*If desired, a punched piece of light colored, coordinating cardstock can be used instead.

Hello Hills of Tuscany Fun Fold Card

 Hi Crafting Friend, Welcome to 2024, the new Mini Catalog and the Sale-A-Bration Brochure. This Spring Mini catalog is always my favorite, especially when you add the benefits of Sale-A-Bration to it. There are so many adorable stamp sets, dies, DSPs and other goodies! Do you like this catalog as much as I do?  Today's card uses the Hills of Tuscany stamp set. The images were stamped directly onto the DSP, (house - white craft ink, roof - Cherry Cobbler, trees and sentiment - Shaded Spruce) the house was then heat embossed with white embossing powder. The card base is Shaded Spruce cut to 8 1/2 X 5 1/2 and scored on the long side at 2 3/4 and 4 1/4.  Hi Crafting Friends, Here we are in 2025. The weather has been cold, but not too cold, which I greatly appreciate. I woke up to hazy skies this morning and my mind went immediately to the fires over in California. My heart goes out to all those that have had to flee and leave their belongings behind to be consumed by the raging flames. If you or anyone you know are near those areas, I hope you are all safe!
