Easy, Colorful Card
Hi Crafting Friend,
Here's an easy colorful card that uses one 6" X 6" piece of DSP. Here's how to make it.
CARD BASE
- Lemon Lime Twist Cardstock - 8 1/2" X 5 1/2" scored, folded and burnished at 4 1/4" on the long side.
- DSP Layer - 4" X 5 1/4" Stamp the bar image from the Bright Borders stamp set using the same colors as your DSP, in this case, Lemon Lime Twist and Pumpkin Pie.
- Ink the edges of the layer with sponge daubers and the same ink colors
- Adhere the layer to the front of the card base.
FOCAL POINT
- Punch your tag out of the 2" strip leftover after cutting the cardstock layer. Try to line it up so that the colors are the same.
- Ink the edges of the label using sponge daubers and the same ink colors.
- Stamp the sentiment with Tuxedo Black Memento ink.
- Stamp the hearts with Melon Mambo.
- Adhere it to the card front using Dimensionals.
- Basic White Cardstock - 4" X 4 1/2"
- Adhere inside the card leaving an even border at the top and on the right and left sides.
- Cut the 3/4" X 4" strip from the leftover of the DSP.
- Stamp the hearts with Melon Mambo.
- Adhere under the Basic White, lining up the sides and leaving a border on the bottom.
