Sale-A-Brate With Friendly Seagulls

Hi Crafting Friend,

We are halfway through Sale-A-Bration, so I thought it would be a good time to share a card featuring one of the stamp sets, Friendly Seagulls, that you can receive for free with a qualifying purchase* during this period.

This card was received in a card swap. It was made by Cindy Pietrowski, and I think it's adorable!

CARDBASE:

The card base is Thick Basic White (5 1/2" X 7 1/2" scored, folded, and burnished at 3 1/4" on the long side).
On the right, inside of the card, (the part that sticks out when it is folded closed) stamp a column of "french fries" using Tuxedo Black Memento ink.

INSERT:

The insert is Basic White (3" X 5 1/4"). Stamp the inside sentiment, the seagull, and the "french fries" using Tuxedo Black Memento ink. Stamp the sand under the seagull using Pecan Pie ink. Use Stampin' Blends to color the seagull's beak and feet (Daffodil Delight), its wings (Smoky Slate), the french fry box (Real Red) and the fries (Lemon Lolly). Adhere the insert to the inside of the card.

CARD FRONT:

On Basic White, stamp the other seagull using Tuxedo Black Memento and the sand under the seagull with Pecan Pie. Color the seagull with Stampin' Blends markers as you did the one on the inside of the card, then die-cut using the 2 1/8" die from Stylish Shapes. Stamp your sentiment and die-cut it also.
The Basic Black layer is 3" X 5 1/4". Die-cut a 2 5/8" circle also from Basic Black. (To save cardstock, you can die-cut it from the center of the layer. It will be covered with DSP and no one will ever know). The DSP layer is 2 3/4" X 5”. Adhere the Basic Black layer to the card front, then adhere the DSP on top of that. Adhere the stamped, colored, and die-cut seagull to the Basic Black die-cut. Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the focal point and the sentiment to the card front. There you go, easy as a french fry!
