Let the DSP Shine in the Winterly Tree Tops

 Hi Crafting Friend,

I have three cards for you this week made with 1/2 of a sheet of 12" X 12" Nests of Winter DSP. It is so pretty I just had to let it do all the heavy lifting on these cards.

The red card opens vertically, the other two open horizontally. The DSP layer and the Basic White insert is the same size for all three cards - 4" X 5 1/4" The image inside all three cards, stamped with Gray Granite ink, is also the same .

The Real Red card base is 4 1/4" X 11" scored, folded and burnished at 5 1/2" on the long side. The sentiment is stamped on Basic White cardstock with Real Red ink then die-cut using one of the sentiment dies from the Wild Ferns die set. (It was longer than I needed it to be, so I used the technique of changing the size of the die-cut by partially cutting it and then moving the die and finishing the cut. That's the best I can do to describe it to you. If you are unfamiliar with this technique, you could use a different sentiment die or fussy cut the sentiment label to 2" X 1 1/4") The edge of the sentiment label is sponged with Real Red, it is adhered with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

The Gray Granite and Blueberry Bushel cards are both 8 1/2" X 5 1/2" scored, folded and burnished at 4 1/4" on the long side.

The Gray Granite card has a Night of  Navy layer under the DSP layer, the Blueberry Bushel card has a Copper Clay layer under the DSP layer (both cardstock layers are 4 1/8" X 5 3/8")

For the Blueberry Bushel card the sentiment is stamped directly on the DSP layer using Blueberry Bushel ink. The DSP is adhered to the cardstock layer with Multipurpose Liquid Glue, then adhered to the card front with Dimensionals.

The sentiment for the Gray Granite card is stamped With Night of Navy ink on Basic White cardstock and die-cut using a sentiment die from the Wild Ferns die set. It is adhered to the card front with Dimensionals.

All the supplies used are linked below the photos.

The whole family went on a camping trip for a few days up near Williams, AZ. Here's a shot of the motley crew at dinner on the last night. And also a shot of a bumblebee hard at work among the Black Eyed Susans near a lake we visited. Thanks for stopping by MissQsCraftingContinuum, Live Long & Craft On! - Susan 🌄🖖
