Unbounded Love of New In-Colors

Well, the New Annual Catalog is LIVE! You can view it online here or if you would like to have a physical copy, contact me & I will make it happen. 

This week's card features all the bright new In-Colors. It's doing double duty for me as a Make-N-Take at my Catalog Launch Party on Saturday, May 4th, 2024 (Star Wars day for all us nerds😉). If you are local and want to attend, contact me by Friday (5/3/24) so I can make sure I have enough supplies prepared. 

The card base is Pretty In Pink cut to 8 1/2" X 5 1/2" scored, folded and burnished at 4 1/4" on the long side.

The insert (not shown) is Basic White cut to 4" X 5 1/4"

The 1st cardstock layer is Summer Splash cut to 4" X 5 1/4" and run through the Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine in the new Eyelet 3D Embossing Folder. 

The next cardstock layer is Petunia Pop cut to 3 1/8" X 4 1/8"

The DSP layer is a 3" X 3" piece of the floral print from the Unbounded Beauty DSP and a 3" X 1" of the Petal Pink stripe print from the 2024-2026 In-Color DSP. I taped them together on the back to make it easier when it was time to put the card together. 

A 3 1/8" X 1/4" strip of Peach Pie cardstock covers the seam because I forgot to order any ribbon, LOL. 

All the layers, the insert and the strip to cover the seam are adhered with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

The sentiment is from the Unbounded Love stamp set and is stamped with Shy Shamrock ink on a label die-cut from Basic White with an Unbounded Love die and adhered to the card with Mini Stampin' Dimensionals. Hello Hills of Tuscany Fun Fold Card

 Hi Crafting Friend, Welcome to 2024, the new Mini Catalog and the Sale-A-Bration Brochure. This Spring Mini catalog is always my favorite, especially when you add the benefits of Sale-A-Bration to it. There are so many adorable stamp sets, dies, DSPs and other goodies! Do you like this catalog as much as I do?  Today's card uses the Hills of Tuscany stamp set. The images were stamped directly onto the DSP, (house - white craft ink, roof - Cherry Cobbler, trees and sentiment - Shaded Spruce) the house was then heat embossed with white embossing powder. The card base is Shaded Spruce cut to 8 1/2 X 5 1/2 and scored on the long side at 2 3/4 and 4 1/4. Fold it in half and then fold the card front back as shown in the photos below.  The Gorgeous Grape layers are 1 7/8 X 5 1/4 for the front and inside left; and 4 X 5 1/4 for the right side.  Cut a 1 inch strip off the top of the DSP to use on another project, then cut 2 pieces, each 1 3/4 wide from the left side (the trees that you sta

Grassy Grove Clean & Simple Card

 Hi Crafting Friend, This card was inspired by a couple of cards I saw on the Facebook Clean & Simple Cardmaking page.  (by Tracey Agli & Darla Anderson Welch) They were both mostly white with some color blending and minor stamping behind the tree dies they used. I thought of these stamps & dies when I saw them.  The card base is 8.5 X 5.5 scored on the long side at 4.25 then folded and burnished to lay flat. The doe and fawn were each die-cut twice, once with Pecan Pie and once with Basic Black then layered together with the black in the front. Place black mini dimensionals as shown in the photo below.  The "moon" is a 1 inch punched Lemon Lolly circle.  The grove of trees was also die-cut twice, once on a 4 X 5.25 piece of Early Eapresso, the second on a piece of Early Espresso just barely bigger than the die itself. Hello Happy Sea Turtle Card

 Hi Stamping Friend, The card I have for you this week is the second of three I designed for the swap using products from the new January-April 2023 Mini catalog and the Sale-A-Bration brochure. I paired the Sea Turtle and Happy Labels stamp sets from the mini catalog with Delicate Edges dies and Texture Chic DSP from the annual catalog. To me they seem made for each other.  This card is really quite simple if you have the basic tools. The DSP makes a perfect background. The turtle is fussy cut, the "seaweed" is die-cut. I gave the seaweed & turtle some dimension by using my bone folder to add some curl to the paper. The turtle is popped up with dimensionals, the seaweed is adhered with Multi-Purpose Liquid Glue, but I played with it, making sure some areas were slightly raised off the paper so it looks like it could be moving in the water.
