Baby Girl Cradled In Love Card

Hi Crafting Friend,
Spring makes me think of babies, so I made a baby card today. Here's how I did it:

The card base is Bubble Bath cut to 8 1/2" X 5 1/2", and scored at 4 1/4" with a landscape orientation.
The cardstock layer is Wild Wheat cut to 3 3/4" X 5" and adhered to the card front.
The DSP layer is 4 7/8" X 3 5/8" and adhered to the cardstock layer.
The insert is Basic White cut to 5 1/4" X 4 and adhered inside the card.

The sentiment is stamped on a scrap of Bubble Bath cardstock with Wild Wheat ink and fussy cut then adhered to a  die-cut Basic White banner.

The bassinet is Stamped on Bubble Bath cardstock with Wild Wheat ink and fussy cut. The craft knife attachment for the Take Your Pick Tool was used to cut out the area inside the legs.

The rug and holder for the mobile are stamped on Wild Wheat cardstock with the same color ink, then fussy cut. Wait until you adhere the other pieces before stamping the mobile elements  directly onto the DSP so you can get your placement correct.

I used blends and the White chalk marker to color the images. Pecan Pie for the legs and top edge of the bassinet, Petal Pink and Bubble bath for the blanket, White Chalk marker for between the slats of the bassinet.

Adhere the bottom of the bassinet legs to the rug.
Adhere the holder for the mobile to the top left of the bassinet.
Adhere the sentiment to the bottom of the bassinet just above where the legs end.

Use 3 Dimensionals behind the bassinet, and Multipurpose Liquid Glue on the curve of the holder for mobile and the rug.

Adhere to the card front then stamp and color the mobile elements. Bubble Bath for the circle holding the mobile elements, Balmy Blue for the whale, Calypso Coral for the moon, and Daffodil Delight for the star.

A small Bubble Bath Rainbow Adhesive Dot was placed on each side of the sentiment and a large one on the upper left side of the card front. Finish the card off with a bow made from Bubble Bath 3/8" Sheer Ribbon.

The products used are linked below the photo of the card. Thanks for stopping by MissQsCraftingContinuum. Live Long & Craft On! -Susan 🌄🖖
