Cheerful Daisies are Delightfully Eclectic Card

 Hi Crafting Friend,

Today's card is an easy fun fold that can help you use up your DSP stash. Start with a 12 X 5.5 piece of DSP. Score it on the long side at 2, 4, 6, & 8. Accordion fold it as shown in the photos and burnish the folds with your bone folder so it lays nicely when folded. To stabilize your card, mount it on a coordinating piece of cardstock cut to 4 X 5.5 I used Basic White, but Petal Pink would be good too. It doesn't show unless you look at the back of the card. Using a spnge dauber, ink the edges with Petal Pink ink if desired. I like the way it looks.

For the focal point, cut Petal Pink cardstock  to  2.75 X 4.25 and using a sponge dauber, ink the edges with Petal Pink ink. Layer it on Basic White cardstock cut to 3 X 4.5 On Basic White cardstock, stamp the daisies with Petal Pink, the centers with Crushed Curry, and the leaves with Old Olive then die cut the pieces and adhere them as desired to the layered piece. Adhere the whole thing to your card front, putting adhesive only on the left side.

For the insert, cut Basic White cardstock to 2.75 X 4 and using a sponge dauber, ink the edges with Petal Pink ink. Stamp the sentiment with Crushed Curry and the flower cluster at the bottom with Petal Pink stamped off once each time you reink the stamp. Layer it on Petal Pink Cardstock cut to 3 X 4.25 and adhere inside the card, lining it up so it doesn't show when the card is closed.

All the products that were used are listed under the photos. (the stamps & dies are listed separately and as a bundle) Thanks for stopping by the continuum today, Live Long & Craft On! - Susan 🌄🖖
