Scottie Love Card

 Hi Stamping Friend,

Don't you think the Christmas Scottie stamp set and Scottie Dog punch are adorable? I know I do, and I was finally able to get them. They arrived the other day so I took them out to play with today. I knew I wanted to work with black, red and white. What do you think of the results? Wanna know how I did it?

The Real Red card base is 4.25 X 11, scored at 5.5 with a 4 X 5 1/4 Basic White insert inside. 

There is a Basic Black layer that is 4 1/8 X 5 3/8 on the card front and a 4 X 5 1/4 DSP layer on top of that. 

The sentiment is stamped on a 3/4 X 2 3/4 strip of Basic White, punched with the Lovely Labels Pick-A-Punch then layered on a 1 X 3 strip of Basic Black that was also punched with the same punch. I adhered it to the card front with black dimensionals. 

The 2 X 2 1/4 plaid piece and the Scottie dog were both stamped with the Stamparatus to make sure I got good saturation of color. It would have been difficult to try to line up and restamp them without the Stamparatus. I consider it to be an indispensible tool!

I used the Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker to define every other fine line both vertically and horizontally on the plaid piece to give it some defintion.

I stamped the bow on a scrap of Basic White and added the detail with the Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker, then punched it out. I didn't like the white border on it from the punch so I fussy cut it, then adhered it to the Scottie dog with multipurpose glue. 

I adhered the plaid piece to the card front with multipurpose liquid glue and the Scottie with black dimensionals.

 I'm pleased with the way the card turned out, I hope you like it too.
