Blessings of Home & Inspired Thoughts Anniversary Card

Hi Stamping Friend,
I was having some fun the other day combining sentiments from a couple of stamp sets, one from the Annual Catalog and one from the new Mini to make this beautiful anniversary card. It was a wonderful diversion from what has been happening in my life lately.
You see, I was diagnosed with breast cancer on November 30, 2021. It was a shock to put it mildly, but I am slowly wrapping my head around it. My husband, Brian, & I were joking about the chemo port being a Borg implant and that I had been assimilated. I can't think of anyone who would choose this so assimilation is an appropriate analogy. My Borg designation is "1 of Many." 😄 If you don't understand the reference, ask any Trekkie. 😉
It was caught early (stage 2A), so prognosis for complete recovery is very good, but it will involve all the fun things that come with cancer treatment. It starts with chemo beginning next Thursday. It was supposed to be today, but the insurance company hasn't yet approved my treatment, so it got put off for another week unless the approval comes in between now & then. In that case they will reschedule again for a sooner appointment. It will be like riding a roller coaster -- chemo treatment, effects (whatever they will be), feel better, next chemo treatment, and so on, and so on. (I already feel like I'm riding a roller coaster with all this confusion!)
After the first block of chemo treatments, I get a break for 4 weeks or so before surgery. Right now, the plan is a lumpectomy, but depending on the results of the genetic testing that could change. After the surgery is more chemo and, radiation. The entire course of treatment is supposed to take about a year. I hope to continue running my Stampin' Up!® business throughout the entire process. So! Enough of that!
I have designed my January class to make 4 cards using the Art Gallery stamp set and coordinating Floral Dies. For right now I am making the PDF available to purchase for $15. I also have PDFs from previous classes available for purchase. If you are interested or would like to know more, contact me at harwoodsusan008@gmail.com
All the supplies I used to make today's project are listed below with links to my online store if you would like to shop. My current host code is always in the header on the main page of my blog, and I send a hand-stamped card as a Thank You gift to everyone who chooses me as their demonstrator to make a purchase.
Next week I will share a few cards that I received in the most recent card swap I participated in. It was hosted by Lisa Lange who does a fabulous job organizing and running it! Each card will feature products from the new Mini Catalog and the Sale-A-Bration Brochure.
Thanks for stopping by -Susan 🌄🖖
