Many Messages Pattern Party Sympathy Card

Hi Stamping Friend,
Sometimes you need a quick card. That was the situation I was in recently. I heard that the father of an acquaintance passed away and, of course, I wanted to send a card. Sympathy cards aren't fun to make so I don't usually have a supply of them in my stash, so I needed to make one. Since Fall has just begun, I thought that the swirling, falling leaves from the Pattern Party DSP were perfect for this card. I added a simple sentiment from the Many Messages stamp and die-cut it with the Messages die. All the details are below the photo.

Supplies:

Cardstock (24 - 8.5" x 11" sheets for $8.75 except Basic White which contains 40 sheets for $9.75)                              Basic Black #121045, Basic Gray #121044, Basic White #159276

Pattern Party DSP (48 - 12" x 12" sheets for $18.00; only available to those who host a qualifying party or make a party sized purchase - $150 or more) #155426

Basic Gray Classic Stampin' Pad #149165 $7.50

Lovely Labels Pick A Punch #152883, $23.00

Clear Block F #118483, $17.00

Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine #149653, $120.00

Adhesives:

Multipurpose liquid Glue #110755, $4.00; Stampin' Seal #152813, $8.00                                                                    Black Stampin' Dimensionals Combo Pack #150893, $6.00

Instructions:

Basic Black card base - 8.5"  x  5.5" scored & folded at 4.25" on the long side.

DSP layer - 4" x 5.25" adhered to card front with adhesive of choice.

Stamp sentiment on Basic White cardstock using Basic Gray ink, then die-cut.

Punch ends of a 7/16" x 4 5/8" strip of Basic Gray cardstock with Lovely Labels Pick A Punch.

Adhere the sentiment strip to the Basic Gray strip with adhesive of choice, then using Black Mini Dimensionals, adhere the sentiment to the front of the card.

For the inside of the card:

Basic White layer - 4" x 5.25"

Adhere DSP strip - 4" x .75" to left side of white layer, then adhere inside the card.

I am grateful that I can make a beautiful card quickly and easily with the fully coordinated products that Stampin' Up! has available. It makes sending a card for a sad occasion much easier.

Have a lovely day,

Susan  🌄🖖
